The balancing shells trophy was conceptualized for Sharjah Institute of Heritage for the 12th edition of Sharjah Traditional Crafts Forum, the theme being Sharjah’s Handcrafts.
The trophy design is engineered from natural elements with no handlined or artificial geometries. It constitutes of shells interfused together to form a continuum signifying the constant effort required to reach perfection, the base requirement of handicrafts where each piece has to be crafted to excellence. The arrangement is balanced over a sea rock instead of a geometric base.165
